I See…I Think…IWonder…
I See, I Think, I Wonder is a type of graphic organiser, designed to provide students with a different way of presenting information. My example today involves students viewing the image on the attachment and completing the following: I See: What do you visually notice about the image? Pay attention to the finer details! I Think: What thoughts come into your mind when you are viewing the image. I Wonder: What questions do you have about this image?
The photo contained in the attachment:I See I Think I Wonderis of Sharbat Gula, otherwise known as the Afghan Girl, whowas featured on the cover of the June 1985 issue of National Geographic Magazine when she was12 years old. Her haunting picture makes for a fascinating I See, I Think, I Wonder. I hope this activity finds a place in your classroom. Ben
